My Story
Growing up, I often felt a bit out of place around my friends, as if they needed my approval or confirmation for their choices. I was the person who inspired others to do better, a trait I first noticed in middle school. Known as the “smart girl” in class, I carried every textbook home daily from the school just a block away. To this day, I still have physical reminders of that habit; the arm I used to carry my heavy bookbag leans a bit from the years of weight.
I was always eager to answer questions in class, so much so that the teacher would sometimes ask if anyone besides me had an answer. On test days, everyone wanted to sit next to me, and I remember friends even arguing over whose turn it was to be beside me. This natural aptitude for learning and sharing knowledge made my friends look up to me and seek my advice on their accomplishments and challenges. Realizing that my encouragement and advice truly helped them, I developed a deep passion for helping others.
As an adult, I expanded my knowledge through books, classes, webinars, and mentorships. In my community, I encountered many creative and talented individuals who struggled to see their own potential. I found that motivating and encouraging these people led to increased self-esteem and inspired them to pursue their dreams. Combining my love for writing with my passion for encouragement allows me to share my talents and support others in achieving their goals.
